PSL 3 2018 Teams Squad

Pakistan Super League (PSL) 3 draft has been completed on Sunday 12 November 2017 and now teams has been completed its squad for this mege event. Still PSL 3 2018 schedule not been announced and we will upload here at our website when it was declared by Pakistan Cricket Board. Here we provide you complete squad of all six teams in PSL 2018. With the expansion of Multan Sultan now PSL 3 will be more excited and interesting.

PSL 3 2018 Peshawar Zalmi Squad:

PSL 2018 Retained Players List:

On 05th October (Thursday) 2017, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the players list who were released and retained by the teams (Franchises) in Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 third season 2018. PSL 2018 draft is ready and player’s auction will be held on 15 October 2017. All teams retained (09) players as per rules and policy of Pakistan Super League (PSL). Now due to edition of Multan Sultan team PSL 2018 draft will be more interesting and also world famous T20 players are ready to become the part of this mega event.

Karachi Kings Released Players

Karachi Kings have released world class T20 players from West Indies (Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle) and now both are part of PSL 2018 draft. Kumar Sangakara and Shoaib Malik were also released by Karachi Kings and both were the captained of the side in PSL 2017 & 2016 edition of the team. Karachi Kings made an agreement with Shahid Khan Afridi and plenty of chances that he will lead the Karachi Kings team as Captain. Shahid Afridi is also the president of Karachi Kings franchise in Pakistan Super League 2018 season third.

Defending Champion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 2018 season third Peshawar Zalmi also released its players and list includes; Tamim Iqbal, Marlon Samuels and David Malan. While England captain in ODI & T20 side Eoin Morgan also released by Peshawar Zalmi team along with front line quick fast bowler Junaid Khan. Winning captain of Peshawar Zalmi team Darren Sammy is retained by Peshawar Zalmi team.

Winner of first edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 2016 edition Islamabad United also released some big players. These players includes; Shane Watson, Sam Billing, Brad Haddin, Sam Billings. Sharjeel Khan is also out of the team due to spot fixing scandal in PSL 2017 and now he will not be the part of the team. Andree Russell will join the team in PSL 2018. He was not part of the team because he was banned by ICC and now his banned has been removed and he is available for the team.

Lahore Qalandars team whose performance in previous two Pakistan Super League (PSL) editions was not satisfactory now thinking to add some talented players in its team. Lahore Qalandars recently made an agreement with Pakistani Speed Star and Rawalpindi Express “Shoaib Akhter” as team mentor in PSL 2018 edition. Lahore Qalandars released former captain in PSL 2016 Azhar Ali, Jason Roy, Grant Elliot and Sohail Tanvir.

Quetta Gladiators released the selfi-star Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Gul and Luke Wright and retained the Kevin Peterson because of its tremendous performance in last edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 2017. Quetta Gladiators team was perform extra ordinary in previous two editions of Pakistan Super League Twenty 20 and now in draft some massive talented T20 players will be part of the team.

Sixth team in Pakistan Super League Multan Sultan is awaiting PSL Draft 2018 and will select its full team. Multan Sultan team recently made an agreement with Wasim Akram and Tom Moody for its coaching staff. Pre-draft of Multan Sultan team was quite good and some very experienced players are in their list. Shoaib Malik will lead the team as captain and rest players which Multan Sultan team choose in pre-draft are as follow;

Quetta Gladiators Retained Players List:

Quetta Gladiators announced that some foreign players will in Quetta team if it will reach to final match. There players are Anamul Haque, Morne Van Wyk, Richard Levi, Graeme Cremer and Sean Ervine. These players will only play in Quetta team if and only if Quetta will qualify for final match.

PSL chairman Najam Sethi said that all the new talent will be selected on merit. Those new players who will play well in PSL 2017 also will give a chance to play in Pakistan international eleven. Last year Lahore Qalandars picked a new player Fakhar Zaman and he proved himself in champion trophy. He played superbly well throughout but against India his performance will be remember for a long period. Najam Sethi also said that I hope next season of PSL 2018 will also produce many good players for Pakistan.

A special news is that Shahid Afridi decided that he no longer play in Peshawar Zalmi team and he decided that he will play with Karachi Kings team and Peshawar Zalmi captain will be Darren Sammy in PSL 2018 tournament.

Venue of PSL 2018:

In last season of PSL 2017, final match was played in Pakistan (Lahore Qaddafi Stadium) which was the best way to reopen international cricket way in Pakistan. For now PSL chairman Najam Sethi has already said that I would try to play at least eight PSL matches in Pakistan. Najam Sethi announced that Final match will be played in Karachi or Lahore and other Playoff matches will played in UAE, Sharjah and Karachi Stadium. Peshawar Zalmi who won the last PSL requested to Chairman to play three to four matches in Peshawar. Well this decision is also on pending.  But it is sure that PSL 2018 will be played in Pakistan but we are talking with foreign players and also with our security officers. Pakistani security officers have given clearness to play even complete tournament in Pakistan. But in last season there were some foreign players who were not ready to play final match in Pakistan so Quetta Gladiators replaced some players.
