Waqar Younis Join Islamabad United

Former Pakistan Cricket team bowling coach Waqar Younis now join Islamabad United team as Director and Bowling coach for PSL 2018 edition and onward. Waqar Younis now will be part of Islamabad United team in PSL T20 2018. Previously Wasim Akram was the bowling coach in last two PSL seasons but now Wasim Join new team Multan Sultan as head coach & bowling coach. Now Islamabad United team made agreement with Waqar Younis to fulfil this gap.

Waqar Younis previously remained the coach of Pakistani team for three or more year. He has good experience and also consider as legend in cricket. Waqar Younis was born on 16 November 1971 in Pakistan. He played 87 Test matches and 262 One Day International matches from Pakistan. He also remained the captain of the side as well. He was famous due to his tremendous bowling and dangerous Yorkers. He took more than 416 wickets for Pakistan in ODI game with an average of 23.84 and took 373 wickets in test matches with an average of 23.56 which shows his class as bowler.

Islamabad United team played well in previous two seasons of PSL. In first edition of PSL 2016, Islamabad United wins the title and it was an honour for the team and all coaching staff as well. In 2017 PSL edition team played the qualifier round but could not go further. Now a new coach Waqar Younis join the team and now it will be interesting how Islamabad United go further.

Islamabad United team include some very talented players and some new addition will also available in PSL 2018 auction as well. Misbah Ul Haq former Pakistani team captain is leading the Islamabad United team as leader/captain.
